Parental Involvement

All parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate actively in the various functions organised by the School throughout the year. This involvement benefits parents, caregivers and students.

Parents and caregivers can be involved through:

  • the School Board
  • the Parent Network Committee which is a social and fundraising body in the School. Meeting times are advertised in the School Newsletter and are open to all parents/caregivers. Great importance is placed on parent/caregiver involvement and parents are encouraged to be involved in, or to support fund-raising and social activities, working bees and many other activities. Nominations are sought annually for all office bearer positions
  • the school garden
  • assisting teachers on excursions or in class
  • coaching sports teams.

All volunteers in the school are required to be a 'Registered Volunteer'.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact the School Office for more information.
