Sports Notices – Week 3, Term 1, 2022

WANTED – Parent volunteers to help coach St Martin’s sports teams. Looking for keen Netball, Basketball and Cricket volunteers for all age groups across the school. Interested, or have other sporting knowledge you would like to share?

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held online on Tuesday, 8 March 2022 at 7.00pm via Microsoft Teams.

Please refer to the paperwork sent home with your child on Thursday, 17 February (or click here for a copy).

RSVPs and nominations for School Board and Parent Network Committee are due by Tuesday, 1 March.

Ash Wednesday – 2 March  

In a few weeks’ time, the season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday which also marks the beginning of the annual Caritas Australia Project Compassion Appeal.

Do you have a child aged 0 - 4 years who is not yet enrolled for school?

If your child is due to start school in 2023 and you have not yet submitted an Application for Enrolment, please contact Catherine Hill (Enrolment Registrar) as soon as possible.

Interviews for children starting in 2024 will be conducted in August this year.

If your child turns 5 between 1 May 2023 and 30 April 2024, they are eligible to start school in Term 1, 2024. 

If your child turns 5 between 1 May 2024 and 31 October 2024, they are eligible to start school in Term 3, 2024.

Applications are also being accepted for children starting school from 2025 to 2027.

Just a reminder that all teaching staff will be participating in a Maths Professional Learning session with consultants from Primary Maths Association on Friday, 11 March.
