Leadership

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We continue to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions that are in place for schools until at least Week 9 which is frustrating for everyone. I thank those parents who have been vigilant in notifying the school when their child has become COVID-19 positive and thus allowing the school to inform the student’s class and those parents who utilise OSHC. It is very important that if your child is slightly unwell, you need to keep them away from school.

Native Cloud Fish.jpg

Mud Garden

Over the holidays the school pond, which is located in the mud garden, has been a hive of activity. At the end of last year, some of the Reception students, with the help of Mr Kuerschner, were involved in introducing new residents into the pond - native cloud fish. (See picture) These fish were chosen as they would live in harmony with the existing frog residents.

The students who are now in Year 1 have noticed that there are a lot of extra fish in there since last year and that they are very fast swimmers.

Before the school opened up to all the students who were at home learning, the Year Ones in 1PB spent some time cleaning up the Mud Garden and removing litter that had gathered in the area. They have now become quite passionate about how the area should be kept clean in order for God’s creatures to be safe and cared for.
