By the time you are reading this, we will only be a few days away from voting in the Federal Election.

SAPSASA SWIMMING STATE DAY

Following successful participation in last term’s SAPSASA District Swimming Carnival, several St Martin’s students won their way to the SAPSASA State Day held last week.

School Reports are distributed at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2.  If you require a second copy of your child's report, please complete the 'School Report - Duplicate Request' eForm in the Skoolbag app.

(To locate eForms in the Skoolbag app, click on the school logo and a subheading will appear with the eForms tab.)

Your request will be kept in place for the entirety of your child's enrolment. Changes can be made to the request by contacting the school office.

Congratulations to former St Martin’s student, Ivy Kerkemeyer, who has won the Artistic World Roller Skating Cup in Trieste, Italy, in the 9 to 10 year old age group.

Ivy, who started skating when she was 2 years old, beat 26 other competitors from around the world, some up to 18 months older than her.

Well done, Ivy, we are all very proud of you!

Reflection

This week’s reflection is written by Richard Leonard SJ, based on this coming Sunday’s Gospel reading of Jesus issuing a new commandment, 'love one another'.

Playgroup is open to children aged 0-5 years and allows both adults and children to interact. Children learn through activities that are child-centred and designed to get them to experiment and experience learning through play, please click here for more information.

Do you have a child aged 0 - 4 years who is not yet enrolled for school?

If your child is due to start school in 2023 and you have not yet submitted an Application for Enrolment, please contact Catherine Hill (Enrolment Registrar) as soon as possible.

Interviews for children starting in 2024 will be conducted in August this year.

If your child turns 5 between 1 May 2023 and 30 April 2024, they are eligible to start school in Term 1, 2024. 

If your child turns 5 between 1 May 2024 and 31 October 2024, they are eligible to start school in Term 3, 2024.

Applications are also being accepted for children starting school from 2025 to 2027.

Pupil Free Day - Monday, 29  August 

All staff will be attending a Retreat Day with St Monica’s School staff on Monday, 29 August. Due to COVID-19, this day has been postponed from January to August. Our OSHC service will be in operation for those families who need care on the day.
